KIRKBY, Ruth Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Lee) - Peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday July 16, 2009 in her 86th year. Betty, loving wife of the late Lloyd Kirkby (1999). Dear mother of Bonnee (Mike Ware), Lee (Lois), Sharree (Alan Eidt) and Ed (Carol). Remembered by her grandchildren Michelle, Jeffery, Darryl, Heather, Leanne, Ashley, Sean, Paul and Adam and great grandchildren Rebecca, Andrew, Matthew and Rayla. Betty and Lloyd owned and operated Kirkby's House of Interiors from 1960-1990. Betty was a member of the Niagara Falls curling club and a member of Lundy's Lane United Church. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Betty's Life will be held at Lundy's Lane United Church 5825 Lowell Ave. On Thursday, July 23rd at 7:00 pm.
