PLACE, Robert George Bob passed away surrounded by his family from complications of Alzheimer's on May 12, 2009 at the age of 77. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife of 55 years Kay Place; his loving children Marjorie (Michael), Mary Jane (Roger) and Chris (Cheryl); seven grandchildren and their spouses; two great-grandsons; brothers Graham (Chris), Tom (Lynn) and Sam (Antonia); sister Gwen (Barry), as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both his parents, George Place and Louise Place Uhlick. A Memorial Service will be held at Howard & McBride Chapel of Chimes (10179 - 108 Street) on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks for the respect and care given by the staff of Lynnwood Capital Care.
