<!-- FH = SERENITY MEADOWS -->JOHNS, Robert, 68, of Ruskin, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2012, after an extended illness. Born November 20, 1944 in North Ft. Myers, Florida to the late Rudolph and Evelyn Johns, he was a fourth generation Floridian from a large family spanning the State of Florida. Mr. Johns was employed by Florida Rock and Tank Lines, Apac Corporation; and Stepp's Transportation as a Transportation Coordinator. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Gail Hamilton Johns; two loving stepsons, Richard and Ronald Chicotka; grandson, Mason; and his brother, Donald Johns, of California. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Lindbergh Johns and Richard Johns. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Serenity Meadows Funeral Home at 6919 Providence Road, Riverview. The family will receive guests from 10:30 until the start of the service.
