Robert J. Hansen Tennessee / Lansing, IL Memorial Services for Mr. Robert J. Hansen were held on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at 7 P.M. from the Chapel of Leon Johnson Funeral Home in Henderson, TN. Mr. Hansen died September 3, 2004 at his home near Henderson. He was 76. Mr. Hansen leaves four daughters: Doris (Fred) Saffrahn of Knoxville, TN, Karen (Ron) Dowmond of Lansing, IL, Margie (Daniel) Hansen of Trophy Club, TX and Gretchen Hansen of Henderson, TN. one son, Robert J. (Terry) Hansen of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother, William (Delores) Hansen of Huntley, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Johnnes and Agnetha Ramusson Hansen. He attended school in Chicago and was married to Marge Bringham, in 1954. They lived in Lansing, IL most of their life. Mrs. Hansen died in 1997. He served in the Army during WWII serving in the Philippines; worked for Illinois Bell until his retirement in 1985 when they moved to Chester County. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the First United Methodist Church in Lansing, IL, where he sang solo many times.
