AITKEN, Robert Grant March 28, 1926 - Nov. 20, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob. He is survived by his son Bob (Diane), daughter Cindy (Rick Farris), grandchildren Christie (Dustin Marnell), Brad and great grandchild Ben. Bob was born in Moose Jaw, but moved to Victoria at an early age. He spent his entire working career at A.H. Winter & Son in the construction industry. His passion was boating and over his lifetime he built many boats finishing with his pride and joy, a 46 ft. Gulf Commander. He was an active member of the Capital City Yacht Club including serving a term as Commodore. The Family would like to express its sincere gratitude to Dr. Alan Cook and a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Oak Bay Kiwanis for the care and compassion they gave to our Father. Our 'gentle soul' will be greatly missed.
