ELLIOTT, Robert Frank (Bob) March 12, 1930 – May 26, 2014 . It is with profound sadness that we announce that our beloved husband, father, and friend passed away peacefully, with his family at his side. Bob will be remembered as a truly great man, who loved and cherished his wife and family. He had an amazing circle of friends as his warm heart, infectious smile and his humour drew everyone to him. Bob was an entrepreneur who built a successful sporting goods agency in Western Canada. Sports and fishing were a huge part of his joy and Pender Harbour and Hawaii were his happy places. Bob and Joan led a full life of travel and adventure together with their cherished friends. Predeceased by his son David, Bob is survived the love of his life, Joan, of 55 years; his children Greg (Sherry), Nancy, Merina, Ross (Sharon), Sandy (Randy); grandchildren Eliza, Charlie (Carrie), Kelsey (Sarah), Megan, Marcus and Garrett; great-grandchildren Tracen, Naomi and Luna. He was an example of strength and positivity, and he lives on in us, filling our hearts with loving memories. A special thank you goes to the caring staff and Doctors at LGH ICU for the wonderful care and support that was given to Bob and our family. Flowers gratefully declined, donations to the BC Lung Association would be appreciated. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at Capilano Golf and Country Club, June 22, 2014, 2-4pm.
