KELLER Robert C. Keller, age 58 of Glenwood Springs, Colo., died Monday, June 8, 2009. He was born May 12, 1951 in Bridgeport, the son of Frank and Mary C. (Pentek) Keller. Bob was a skilled and highly regarded carpenter. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He fished and hunted small and big game, including elk, mule deer, bear, wild boar, quail, turkeys, etc., in nearly every state of the union. It was humorously said that Bob "worked when he wasn't hunting or fishing." He loved the out of doors and especially enjoyed viewing it while riding his Harley. He was always willing to help others and his friends would say that his heart was as big as the whole out doors. His sense of humor and ability to tell a captivating story made him many friends. Bob was also active in and proud of his twenty five year association with Alcoholics Anonymous and the numerous friends he had in that organization. Bob is survived by his parents, and his seven brothers, Frank, Donald (Robin), Thomas, Richard (Brenda), Scott (Carolyn), and Roger (Laura), all currently of the Fairfield area, as well as by his brother, Eric (Shelly) of the Greene, N.Y. area. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his many, many friends, among them his good friends Bob and Kate Kirk of Carbondale, Colo. and his beloved dog, Red. Funeral services will be held at a location, date and time to be announced later.
