MARK - The family of Robert "Bob" A. Mark of Watrous is saddened to announce the death of their father and grandfather. Bob peacefully passed away surrounded by his family, Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Manitou Lodge in Watrous. Bob was predeceased by his loving wife, Elaine and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by his children Noreen (Phil) of Leeds, UK; Ross (Fran), Saskatoon; Cameron (Shannon), Sherwood Park, AB; Fraser (Karen), Watrous, Denise (Lyle), Watrous; Jim (Pam), Grand Rapids, MN; his grandchildren Craig (Claire), Moira (Paul), Shane (Heather), Brody, Ryan (Vanessa), Lindsay, Bailey, Thomas, Caitlin, Jackson, Erin, Sean, Brendan, Hannah and great grandchildren Oliver, Katie, Jessica and Emily. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Mabel Mark and Joan (Ken) Carlson. Bob was born on August 13, 1921 at Saltcoats, SK. Bob grew up in Young, SK and raised his family in Watrous. He proudly served his country in WWII as a member of the Canadian Armoured 5th Div. and had always been proud of his involvement in the Italian Campaign. Bob was a talented and well respected general contractor in the province for many years. The service of remembrance will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Watrous United Church, 2:00 pm.
