Roanne Bartlettof Leominster; 71 LEOMINSTER -- Roanne (Sparks) Bartlett, 71 years old, of Leominster, died Monday, December 29, 2014, in her home after an illness.She is survived by her husband of 48 years, David M. Bartlett; sons, John T. Bartlett and his wife, Lydia of Troy, NH, and Mark D. Bartlett of Fitchburg; daughter, Susan P. Bartlett of Fitchburg; grandchildren, Danielle Bartlett, John Bartlett, Emily Cochran, David Cochran and Kaia Bartlett; brothers, John Sparks and his wife, Karen of Jupiter, FL, and Thomas Sparks and his wife, Mary of Fitchburg; brothers-in-law, Richard Bartlett and his long-time friend, Carol Baumbach of Longmont, CO, Thomas Bartlett and his wife, Susan of Leominster and Guy Stroup of Battlefield, MO, several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her sister, Betty A. Sparks, and sister-in-law, Nancy Bartlett Stroup.Roanne was born November 25, 1943 in Leominster, daughter of Ernest and Winona (Richard) Sparks and was a life long resident.She had worked at Don-Jo Mfg., Inc. in Sterling and then in the bakery at the former Victory Market in Leominster. Roanne enjoyed bowling at Putnam Street Lanes in Fitchburg, and spending time with her grandchildren.BARTLETT -- A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11 am in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. A calling hour will be held prior to the service Monday morning from 10-11 am in the funeral home.
