CARRIERE, Rita (Nee St-Jean) 1932- 2007 - The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Friday, November 9th, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Predeceased by her husband Jean-Paul Carriere (2003). Loving mother of Denis Carriere (wife Betty) of Timmins, Estelle Guiho (husband Marc) of Timmins, Suzanne Roy (Steve Tonkin) of South Porcupine, Gaëtan Carriere (wife Sylvie) of Barrie and Jean-Guy Carriere (wife Nancy) of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Willine McBeth of South Porcupine, Marie-Jeanne Saumur (husband Robert) of Timmins and Denise Bédard (husband Marcel) of Sudbury. Survived by her brother-in-law Gérald Rainville of Timmins and sisters-in- law Mary-Anne and Shirley St-Jean both of Timmins. Predeceased by her parents Alphonse & Cécile St-Jean, her daughter Sharon (1954), her sons Maurice, Omer & Jean all in 1954, her brothers Remi, Raymond and Floriant St-Jean and her sister Stella Rainville. Funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the St. Anthony's Cathedral of Padoua. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Timmins & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
