Funeral service will be held on Sunday,August 12, 2007 at 2:00 fromClinton Chapel AME Zion withRev. Larry D. Robinson officiating and interment to follow atOakwood Cemetery Annexwith Ross-Clayton FuneralHome directing. Mr. Norris retired from Park Lane Hotel inNew York. He rededicated hislife to the Lord and becamea member of Clinton Chapelunder the leadership of Rev.Larry D. Robinson and Rev.Leonard Cammack. Heleaves to cherish his memories a devoted daughter,Vanzetta Norris-Wyatt of NewYork; three grand childrenand three great grandchildren; two aunts: Mary Marshall of Selma, AL; and Mineola Smith of Montgomery,AL; two ex-wives Sarah Norrisof Montgomery, AL; and LulaNorris of New York; two step-sons: Jerome Meriwether ofMontgomery, AL; and Clarence Washington of NewYork; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends. The body will liein state one hour prior to theservice at Clinton Chapel.
