WILLIS, Richard Charles, 68a resident of Montgomery,AL passed away at his residence on Thursday, April 7,2011. Funeral services willbe held Saturday, April 16,2011 at 11:00 AM from BellMissionary Baptist Church,503 Oak Street, Montgomery, AL with Rev. Huntley,pastor. Burial will follow inForest Hills Memorial Parkwith Ross-Clayton FuneralHome, Inc., directing. Mr.Willis will lie in repose at thechurch one hour prior tothe funeral service. Mr. Willis was an avid lifelong educator for 51 years. Heserved as musician for theAlabama Middle Districtand many churches duringhis lifetime. Preceding himin death a sister, DorothyLee Fitzgerald and twobrothers, James Billups andHorace Billups. He is survived by his two sisters, Anthie Billups, Willoughby, OHand Gloria Jean Brown,Cleveland, OH; sister-in-law, Dollie Billups, Montgomery, AL; two aunts,Maggie Davis, Buffalo, NYand Odessa Woods; halfsiblings, Norma Jean Willis,Napolitan Willis, Rose Willisand Leonard Willis; step siblings, Carolyn Brown, SarahWilliams, Zelda Hill, Sammy(Debbie) Hill; loving andcaring niece, Sharon Relf;and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; god children, Sandy Osborne, Vivian Randall, AirlvaughnRandall, James (Jeanette)Bowling; devoted churchmembers and friends, Annie (Cornell) Rogers, Andrea Price, Ada (Lacy)Bruce, Charles Trimble,Johnny (Hattie) Trimble,Leon Trimble; a dearly beloved friend, Ms. TommySpencer.
