Phyllis E. (Moorcroft) Mains, 73 Lived in Florida; was avid traveler Sentinel & Enterprise FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- Phyllis E. (Moorcroft) Mains, 73, of Fort Walton Beach, formerly of Melrose, Mass., died on Friday, Aug. 20, after being stricken ill while visiting her many friends and family in the area. Mrs. Mains, her husband, Robert L. Mains, and their girls traveled extensively as an Air Force family before retiring to Florida in the 1970s. She was an avid traveler and will be missed by her Leavitt family, Melrose High School classmates, Bosom Buddies, camping pals, Red Hat ladies, and many, many friends. She really lived her life until she died. Mrs. Mains is survived by her loving daughters, Donna Moorcroft-Juslin of Laconia, N.H., Brenda Hall and her husband, William, of Mary Esther, April Mains, and Roberta Berry and her husband, Terry of Fort Walton Beach, Lucinda Eucker and her husband, Bobby, of Orange Park; four grandchildren, and her nephews, Stephen Moorcroft of Fitchburg, Mass., and David Moorcroft of Dunedin. Her husband, Robert L. Mains, predeceased her. MAINS -- On Aug. 20, Phyllis E. (Moorcroft) Mains, 73, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
