SABOURIN, Phyllis Amelia (nee Gervais) - has gone to be with the Lord, peacefully, at the Extended Care Unit on October 12, 2009 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Sabourin (Nov. 1993). Survived by daughter Marlene Colquhoun (Doug), son-in-law Denis Audet and daughters-in-law Lynda and Judie. Dear sister of Donelda McGratten (Maurice) of Saskatchewan and Sarah Leepart (Doug) of Manitoba, sister-in-law of Mervin Sabourin (Colleen) and Bernice Thompson all of Saskatchewan. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Katherine (nee Cardiff) Gervais, children Albert, Vernon, Jerry, Darlene and Mary, brothers Martin, Eli and Laurence and sisters Elizabeth, Myrtle, Lillian, Nora, Theresa, Jossie and Katherine. Phyllis enjoyed her family, friends and her cottage in Parry Sound. She was a proud parishioner of St. Alexander Parish. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Wednesday, October 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Thursday, October 15th at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Welland Hospital Foundation- E.C.U., St. Alexander Parish, or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
