HomemakerBARTOW -- Mrs. Peggy Andrews of Bartow died of kidney failure Sunday (Oct. 27, 2002) in Lakeland. She was 71.Born in Ridgewood on Jan. 27, 1931, she came to Bartow 70 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Bartow.Mrs. Andrews is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Sanders, Lakeland; sons, Eddie Williams, Tyrone Cooper, Fredrick Cooper, all of Bartow, George Cooper, Plant City; mother, Naomi Collins, Bartow; sisters, Justa Hubbard, Maryland, Mae Bryd Smart, Bartow, Carolyn Bryant, Plant City, Nina Broadnax, Lakeland; brothers, Charles McGill, George Collins, Calvin Collins, all of Bartow, Claude Collins, Orangeburg, S.C.; 24 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home, Bartow. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Providence M.B. Church in Bartow.
