She was a retired teacher in the Holly, MI school system. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved flower gardening, reading, and crafts.Surviving are daughter, Holly Wortz (Brett) of Piedmont; sons, Bryan Leary (Linda) of Piedmont, Patrick Leary (Kay) of Holly, MI; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Merry J. Avitts of Owosso, MI.Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Baptist Church.The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Leon Porter officiating.
