Patricia "Patti" Anne Mosher (Snyder) 1947-2013 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Patricia "Patti" Mosher (Snyder) of Saint John, wife of the late Otis "Mike" Mosher, which occurred on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Halifax, NS on December 16, 1947, she was a daughter of Harold Snyder and the late Mildred (Feindel) Snyder. In 1966 Pat graduated from Business College. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Scarborough, ON with Mike to start her family. While in Scarborough, Pat was employed by the Department of National Defense. After several years they decided to move back to the Maritimes to be closer to family. Pat retired in 2004 after 28 years of employment with Irving Oil Refinery. Pat loved spending time with friends, family and hanging out with the "Golden Girls" and looked forward to her adventures with the "Chicks Night Out" gals. She took pleasure in reading a good book then passing it on to others. Throughout the years she enjoyed travelling. In her spare time, Pat found a great deal of enjoyment from painting. She appreciated the beauty of nature often watching a sunset or sunrise. Pat was a member of the CWL of St. Mark’s Church. Pat will always be remembered for her strength, her sense of humour, her spirited and creative personality, and taking the time to acknowledge a special birthday or occasion and "always" thinking of others. She was truly a beautiful person, loving mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Mosher (Geoff Lahey) of Saint John; her father, Harold Snyder of Nova Scotia; twin brother, Mike Snyder (Sharon) and sister, Paula Conrod (Stephen) both of Nova Scotia; two sisters-in-law, Marsha Butler (Charles) of Ontario and Marinna Morrison (Bob) of Nova Scotia; brother-in-law, Gary Mosher (Debbie) of Nova Scotia; "special godson", Ethan Clark; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as her furry companions, Coco and Tia. Besides her mother and husband, Pat was also predeceased by her son, David and mother and father-in-law, Otis and Edna Mosher. In keeping with Pat’s request, no formal visitation will be held. A service celebrating Pat’s life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 12:00 Noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), followed by a reception at Brenan’s Reception Centre. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family, in lieu of flowers. www.BrenansFH.com
