The family of Myron Artelle White are saddened to announce his passing on August 11, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Myron was born June 22, 1935, in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, where he married Maria Whynot in 1957 and raised five children, until moving to Port Alberni in 1970. Myron was an active member of the Elks and the Royal Canadian Legion. His pastimes were telling stories, playing cards, bingo and watching the Blue jays.Myron is predeceased by his first wife, Maria and second wife, June, as well as his parents, Myron Sr. and Millie, brothers; David, Ron, Victor, Roger, sister, Noreen and son-in-law, Earl Stubbard. Myron is survived by his sisters; Alice, Betty, Lillian, Judy, Joan, Margret, brothers; John and Gerry, daughter, Susan Stubbard, sons; Jim, Wayne (Cindy), Mike (Lenora), Brian, 12 grand children and 11 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.As requested by Myron, there will be no service. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
