EDWARD "BEUR" CURRY LINCOLN - Funeral service for Edward "Beur" Curry, 91, will be Saturday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. J. Stafford Rowser Jr., the Rev. Edward Bolton, the Rev. Tommy Jones, the Rev. Everett Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery, Lincoln. Mr. Curry will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to service. Mr. Curry died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at his residence. He was educated in the Talladega County School System, employed by Anniston Army Depot, and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Curry; daughters, Blanche Curry and Mary Greer; father, Walter Curry; mother, Leila Orr; three brothers and five sisters. Survivors are sons, Edward Curry Jr. and Frank Curry both of Lincoln; daughters, Florence Lemon of Los Angeles, CA, Brenda (Andrew) Woods of Eastaboga, Edwina Truss, Mattie (Sidney) Mauldin, Virginia Curry, Gloria (Bobby) Lynch, Bervina (Fred) Sims, and Towanda Curry all of Lincoln; 33 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 38 great-great grandchildren. Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct.
