OXFORD — Graveside services for Ms. Evelyn Marie Norton, 92, who passed away August 15, 2009 will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Forestlawn Gardens. The Rev. Frank Morton Jr and the Rev. Raymond Miller will officiate. Her family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 till 1:30 p.m. Ms. Norton was a native and long time resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. For more than 50 years she worked at Anniston Memorial Hospital (NEARMC) as a LPN. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mattie Norton and sisters, Signa Norton and Ruby Doves. Her Survivors include her brother, Marion "Frank" Norton Sr.; nephews, Frankie Jimmy and Keith Norton and Homer Davis Jr.; nieces, Kay Wilson, Barbara Drew and Martha Highnote; great-nephew, Christopher Smith and great nieces Ciera Wilson and Chasity Blumenschein and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
