MILDRED F. TWOMBLY MORRISVILLE — Mildred F. Twombly passed away Sunday, May 22, 2005. She was born in Peacham, the daughter of Ben and Helen Field. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, G. Wayne Twombly; her children, George and his wife, Martha Twombly, Julie and her husband David Brown, and Susan Twombly; her grandchildren, John and Carla Twombly, Jeff and Laurie Twombly, and Dawn Brown; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Benjamin Twombly; her sisters, June Darling, Lorna and husband Dick Quimby, Sylvia and husband Clayt Evans, and Pat McLam; many nieces and nephews. Mildred taught many years at Peoples Academy. She touched many lives and will be remembered for her sense of humor, calm, caring demeanor, and her love of reading, her beautiful garden, and her family and friends. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Morrisville. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mildred's memory would be appreciated to the Morristown Centennial Library, P.O. Box 727, Morrisville, Vt. 05661. Arrangements are by the White-Fiess Funeral Home, Morrisville.
