Mildred E. (Minichielli) Curran Stanton age 99 years died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Monday, April 16, 2012. Born in Canton, Massachusetts on June 19, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Irene (Brewer) Minichielli. She graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1930. She worked in Kendall Mills for over 30 years and served as the President of the Union. In addition she owned and operated Millie's Old and New in Walpole. Millie was a friend to all and performed numerous charitable acts. She loved bingo and trips to the casino. Wife of the late James Stanton and Pete Curran. Devoted mother to Dorothy Forte of CA, Robert Curran of Milford, Donna Stanton of Walpole, the late Mary Robistow, and the late Barbara Stanton. Loving sister of the late Evelyn Angus, the late Everett Minichielli, and the late Joseph Minichielli. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Saturday at 11AM. Visiting hours are Saturday morning from 9-11AM. Interment is in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
