JOHN MICHAEL "TEX" DUNCAN John Michael "Tex" Duncan, age 43 years 11 months passed a way at home after a long extended illness on April 14, 2007. Your days on earth were few but you taught us of faith, hope, love, and compassion. Your were the best son, husband, brother, father and friend in the world. You will be sorely missed leaving a void in our hearts and lives. Our precious Son, Husband, Father, and Friend go with God and light our way till we are together again in Christ Our Lord. Preceded in death by one son Chadwick Vincent Duncan, and his grandparents John and Zadie Duncan, James H. and Thelma P. Bates. John leaves behind wife Karen D. Duncan and the following children; a son Christopher M. Duncan, daughter Victoria I. Duncan, step-son Shawn J. Foster, Step-daughter Tasha Moore. Two step-grandchildren, Isaiah Moore and Leeanne Foster. He was the son of Emily I. Wilkinson and Burl W. Duncan. His step-parents include Robert C. Wilkinson and Jeannie Duncan. Brothers include Bret W. Duncan and wife Christine, Christopher J. Duncan and wife Robin, Vence C. Wilkinson, one sister Dana M and husband Steve Wayne. Step-brothers and sisters include Johnny Purvis, Chassie Clarke, Stephanie Mavo, Payo Mavo and Joseph Mavo. He leaves behind Aunts and Uncles Patricia C. and Harold Coureton, Gail A. and Larry Heiser, Marlene and Ray Clark, David M. Bates and Ruth Ann Robinson. He leaves 12 nieces and nephews and many cousins. Services will be conducted by the Rev Rebecca Brown at First Presbyterian Church in Alachua, Florida the 19th of April at 2:00 P.M.
