Mary T. (Ryan) Drysdale, age 85, entered into eternal life on May 17, 2015. Mary was born and raised in South Boston and had lived in Weymouth since 1953. Mrs. Drysdale worked at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth for 32 years. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality of the Sacred Heart Church. Beloved wife of the late Russell L. Drysdale Sr., she was the devoted mother of Mark T. Drysdale and his wife Michelle of Braintree, and the late Russell L. Jr. and Maryellen Cheney; beloved sister of Paul Ryan of Rockland, Grace McGuiness of Hanson, the late Thomas Buddy, John, and Walter Ryan. Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law, Anne Marie Drysdale of Weymouth. She was the loving grandmother of Bobby, Russell, Russell III, James, Kelly, Edward, Emily, and Sarah; great-grandmother to 5. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth, Thursday, May 21, at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth, at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
