HEFFERNAN, Nina (Mary Regina) Peacefully, in hospital on Sunday, December 14, 2008 after a brave battle with cancer. Special friend to Bobby McEwan. Sister of John Roche. Loving mother of Joanne (JP Spessot), Stephen (Cheryl), Leslie (John Reiser) and Michael (Kim). Wonderful Nana to Miranda, Emily, Jenna, Selina, Philip, Lorenzo, Mackenzie, Braeden, Liam and Patrick. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr.'s Laurie, Meng, and Mai, to the wonderful staff on 5 East at the Ottawa General Hospital and to Sylvie. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.), on Wednesday 2-4 & 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church, 100 Main Street on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Hope Cemetery.
