POTTS, Mary Lorna. Lorna Potts, sixty-four, Montreal, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2003 in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Catherine (Graham) McLean. Lorna is remembered by her family as a caring and faithful wife, loving mother and grandmother. Friends and peers will remember Lorna as a dear and trusted friend, and an accomplished career woman who rose to remarkable success in the cosmetic industry during her 20+ year career. All will remember Lorna as a person with a wonderful sense of humour who lived her life with goodness, dignity and respect. Surviving are her husband Donald; daughter Leslie Ann and husband Michel Wilson, Montreal; sons David and wife Anne McGreevy, Montreal, Craig and wife Heather (Malarky), Waverley, Nova Scotia; grandchildren Kevin and Jayden Wilson, Alexandra and Michael Potts and Grace Potts; sister Julia McLean and husband Jerry Stanley; nephews Malcolm and Joshua Stanley; aunt Sheila Graham. She was predeceased by brother Ian McLean. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux (514) 685-3344. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
