PALMER - Mary Louise (St. Peter) Kersey, 86, of Palmer, formerly of Indian Orchard, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 in the Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, Ludlow. Born in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield and a longtime resident, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Lavigne) St. Peter. She moved to Palmer (4) years ago. Mary was a retired assembler for the former Wallace Manufacturing Co. of Enfield, CT. She previously was employed at the former Springfield Armory. Mary was a member of the former First Congregational Church, now the Evangelical Covenant Church of Indian Orchard. She is survived by two sons; Vincent A. Kersey, Jr., of Ludlow; James A. Kersey of Burbank, CA; a sister; Babe Little of Sacramento, CA; and three grandchildren; Brian Kersey; Amanda Kersey and James V. Kersey. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Vincent A. Kersey, Sr., in 1987. The funeral will be Friday morning in the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield.
