HOLT Mary Louise Marlowe, Bonner, age 77, of Holt, died Sept. 18, 2006 at home. Services will be 10 a.m. today, Sept. 20, 2006 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Phil Boyles officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.Her parents, R.T. and Mary Jane Marlowe, her brother, Thurman Marlowe, and her sister, Mackie Cartee, preceded her in death.Survivors include her husband, Herman Bonner; sons, Gene (Cindy) Bonner and Rick Bonner; special family members, Mike Bond and Mary Rhone; sisters, Alma Delbridge and Frances Ingram; grandchildren, Ashley Bonner and Katie Bonner; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.Louise was a devout Christian. She had such a sweet spirit and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a lifetime resident of the Holt Community and member of Holt Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother and grandmother, sweet sister and friend to all.Pallbearers will be Paul Gartman, Gene Terry, Carl Archibald, Steve Terry, Ken Causey, Barry Lawrence, Robbie Delbridge, Dennis Ingram, Mike Marlowe, and Buddy Cartee.Honorary pallbearers are Thurman Marlowe, Jr. Sunday School Class at Holt Baptist Church, Gideons, Nancy Sellers, Dorothy Pierson, Rebekah Sunday School Class at Holt Baptist Church, Malcolm Pierson, Larry Pierson, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Foley, Dr. Ross Vaughn, Ann Mills, Norman and Minnie Bell Mills, Lois Lawrence, Lajune Gartman, Curtis and Faye Ryan, Robin Bailey, employees of Always There, members of Holt Baptist Church, John Moore, friends and neighbors of Holt Community, Brenda and Kayla Causey, Chris, Stephanie and Emily Moore, Charlene Frederick, and Irene Christian.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made either to Holt Baptist Church or Herman and Louise Bonner Scholarship in care of Alabama Baptist Association.
