Mary Louise (Rowe) Andrewsof HarpursvilleMary Louise (Rowe) Andrews, 91, of Harpursville, went home to be with the Lord and rejoin her husband, Alford "Bus" Andrews on Monday, June 23, 2003, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 5, 1912 and was the last surviving member of her generation of the Rowe and Andrews families. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Fletcher Noyes, Port Crane; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Brenda Andrews, Harpursville, Harold and Janice Andrews, Port Crane, Kevin and Christine Andrews, Albany; her grandchildren, Amy Noyes, Beth Noyes, Scott and Jamie Noyes, Robert and Melissa Andrews, Mark and Jill Andrews, Brett and Teresa Andrews, Richard Andrews, Todd Skellett and Missy, Jamie and Elizabeth Andrews, Jason and Jeanine Andrews, Kurtis, Caitlyn and Kyle Andrews, who affectionately called her "Gramma Mary"; her great-grandchildren, Blake, Whitney, Zachary, Kara, Jason, Cole, Nathan, Melaina, Garrett, Jacob, Holly, Dante, Benjamin, Jonathan and Erin; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Cecile Tuttle, Harpursville. Mary and her husband, Alford, along with several other couples were the founders of Bethel Chapel as it is today in Harpursville. She was co-owner with her husband of the family farm on Bates Rd. in Harpursville. She was a former foster parent and a second mom to many. Her most important priority in her life was her family and she will be greatly missed.Funeral services will be held at Bethel Chapel, N.Y. Rte. 79, Harpursville, on Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. William Fowler, pastor of her church, and Rev. Michael Rowe, Pastor of Harpursville Baptist Church will co-officiate. Burial will be in Perch Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, 69-71 Maple St., Harpursville on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
