Mary L. Cooper Sain Mary L. Cooper Sain, 87, a retired waitress, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005. The service will be at 10 a.m. EDT Monday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (850-877-8191), with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. EDT today at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. Born in Thomasville, Ga., she was raised by her aunt and uncle, Will and Lucy Spence. Survivors include two sons, Ernie Cooper (and wife Louise) of Slocomb, Ala., and Glenn Cooper (and wife Pat); seven daughters, Glenda C. Langston, Ruby C. Davis, Pauline C. Simone, Lorraine C. Skipper (and husband Jimmy), Louise C. Winesett of Columbia, S.C., and Dorothy Spence (and husband W.T.) and Hazel C. Parrish of Port Charlotte; 24 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilburn C. Cooper and W.P. Sain, and a son, James Cooper.
