Mrs. Mary Henry Chapman, age 95, of Magnolia Place, Greenville, formerly of Chapman Road, Pelzer, passed away Jan. 6, 2005.Widow of Frank A. Chapman, she was born on Aug. 17, 1909, in Donalds to the late Kemper and Florence Henry. She taught school for many years at Lickville, Horse Creek and Fork Shoals. She was a graduate of Asheville Normal College, Asheville, N.C., and was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church.Surviving are a son, William H. Chapman Sr. and his wife, Doris; a daughter, Revonda Floyd and her husband, Don; grandchildren, Billy Chapman and his wife, Beth, Christi Chapman, Sandra Whiting and her husband, David, Greg Porter and his wife, Kimber; and great-grandchildren, Will and Erin Chapman, Shelley and Mackenzie Whiting, Britany Porter, and Mallory Mahaffey.The family would like to thank the nurses at Magnolia Place and Hospice Vista Care for the loving care of our mother.Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cannon's Memorial Park in Fountain Inn, with the Rev.
