O'MALLEY Marguerite "Peggy," of Chatham, died peacefully on August 16, 2011 with her family at her side. She was 87. Born in Nutley to Phillip and Anna Reilly. She grew up in North Bergen and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in West New York. Peggy married Michael O'Malley in 1957 and resided in Jersey City before moving to Teaneck in 1962. She then moved to Chatham in 1997. Peggy worked for Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City and Bogota Savings and Loan. She was an active member of the Altar Society at St. Joseph's Church in Bogota and later at Corpus Christi Church in Chatham. She was also a member of the Chatham Seniors. Devoted to her family, she was the wife of the late Michael O'Malley. Beloved mother of Mary Ellen Moran and her husband James of Chatham. Adored grandmother of Kaitlin Moran of Washington, DC; Michael Moran of Dallas, TX; and Claire and Emma Moran of Chatham. Cherished sister of John Reilly of Saratoga, CA and the late Rita Rooney of Saugerties, NY, her twin sister. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham Twp., on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 10 AM. Friends may call at the Wm. A.
