Margaret was born January 31, 1921 in Buncombe County where she was a resident all of her life. She was a member of Bee Tree Baptist Church in Swannanoa. She was a former employee of Kearfott. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Lyda Towe Lawrence; husband, Rev. Granville Lee Kilby; and son, Randy Kilby.Margaret is survived by her daughter, Ann Sprinkles and husband, Carlton of Leicester; sons, Rev. Roy Kilby and wife, Wanda of Swannanoa, and Garry Kilby of Asheville; sister, Pearl Parham of Leicester; brother, Jack Lawrence of Florida; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Bee Tree Baptist Church.
