KEOUGH Margaret J. (nee Jeffers), 83, of Fairway Mews, Spring Lake Heights passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her home. Born in Hackensack, she had resided in Glen Rock, and then in Oradell for 9 years before moving to Spring Lake Heights in 1981. She was active in the Fairway Mews community in the many activities that the residents participate in. She was a proud graduate of Good Council College, receiving a B.S. in Business. Margaret had been employed as a Bookkeeper for her son's law firm Ventura, Miesowitz, Keough and Warner of Summit, NJ. She was predeceased by her former husband John R. Keough and her parents Daniel and Lillian Jeffers. Surviving are her devoted children and their spouses; John R. Keough III and wife Diane of Ridgewood, Daniel G. Keough and wife Lucy of Mendham, and Margaret "Meg" K. Mansfield and husband Samuel of Fairfax, Va., her seven grandsons Timothy, Geoffrey, Daniel, Matthew and Brian Keough and Samuel and Daniel Mansfield her great grandson Theodore, and her nephews, nieces and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday from 4-8 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, NJ 07719. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Catharine's Church, 215 Essex Ave., Spring Lake, NJ 07762. Please go directly to the Church on Tuesday morning. Private burial will be on Wednesday in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack.
