->Cobb, Margaret I.Margaret "Billie" Cobb of Ossining, NY former long time resident of Croton-on-Hudson, died on March 31, 2011, at the age of 94. Mrs. Cobb was a dental assistant for Dr. Thomas Tong in Tarrytown before retiring in 1993. Mrs. Cobb was born on July 15, 1916, in the building her father built at 111 Grand Street in Croton-on-Hudson. She was the daughter of James Hunt, a long-life Croton resident and Mary McNamee. She graduated from Croton High School in 1932 and operated a beauty shop in Croton for many years. She later worked for the telephone company in Tarrytown. Mrs. Cobb was married to Addison D. Cobb who died in 1972. She is survived by four children, Patty Costick and her husband Tom of Croton-on Hudson, Mary Cobb of Chicago, Illinois, Michael Cobb and his wife Phyllis of Croton-on-Hudson and James Cobb of Killeen, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. The funeral mass will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, April 5th at Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand Street, Croton on Hudson, NY 10520. Friends may send memorial donations to the church.
