Mary JoAnn Cronin of Nanuet, NY, died on April 27, 2003 in Good Samaritan Hospital. Mary was born in the Bronx, NY, on December 3, 1939 to Robert and Madeline Briant Hammer. She has been a Rockland resident since 1964, prior Bronx, NY. Mary attended Villa Maria High School. She married Robert Cronin on January 1, 1957. Mary was the former owner of the Triangle Pub in Nanuet, NY. She loved to take vacations. Mary enjoyed her grandchildren. Mary lived a good life with her family. She passed with her daughter at her side very peacefully. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mary is survived by her son Robert of Nanuet and her daughter JoAnne and her husband Fred Abatangelo of Maybrook, NY, and her brother Robert Hammer of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jacqueline and Stephen Abatangelo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 am at St. Anthony's Church. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visiting at Higgins Funeral Home, New City, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. MICHAEL J.
