Margaret Mary Dawson passed away on February 17, 2001 at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle. She was 82. Margaret was born August 17, 1918 in the Bronx, NY to Francis and Mary Haight Hannan. Margaret was a secretary for the Internal Revenue Service in White Plains. She was a member of the St. Ursula's Altar Rosary Society, the Blessed Sacrament Lady's of Charity, the Sacred Heart Seniors Group, the St. Joseph's Arts and Leisure Group, the Westchester Historical Society and Our Lady of Victory Rosary Society. She was also an active member of Saints Peter and Paul Church. She is survived by her son John B. Dawson, Jr., her daughter Linda Dawson and her two grandchildren John B. Dawson III and Hugh E. Dawson. Friends may call the Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home Tuesday between 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at St. Ursula's Church. Interment at Long Island National Cemetery.
