Jennings, Lynda Jean In the early morning hours of Friday, June 26, 2009 Lynda Jean Jennings left this world to meet her friend and Savior, Jesus Christ. Lynda's funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the St. Paul's United Church of Canada, Estevan, Saskatchewan with Rev. Scott McKirdy and Rev. Pat Wotton officiating. Interment will take place at the Lac Que Parle Cemetery, Torquay, Saskatchewan, Canada. Visitation will be on Monday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present to greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson and on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Orsted Funeral Home, Estevan. Lynda Jean Bjorndal was born in Estevan, Sask. on December 10, 1948 to parents Olaf and Edna (Howitt) Bjorndal. She was the fourth of six children raised on the family farm near Bromhead, Sask. La Que Parle Country School, Westview Elementary School and Estevan Collegiate Institute were the schools in which Lynda obtained her education.
