MCMILLAN, LOUISE GERTRUDE At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, February 17, 2008 Louise Gertrude McMillan of Fredericton passed away at the age of 88. Born in Grand Falls, NB she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (White) West and wife of the late Patrick McMillan. She was a former member of the Catholic Women's League in various areas. Louise was an avid quilter and she enjoyed other crafts. She loved animals, especially horses. She is survived by three sons, John of New Maryland, George of Mazerolle Settlement and Charles (Dawn) of Charters Settlement; two daughters, Patricia Brewer (Mike) of Douglas and Virginia Franklin of Kelowna, BC; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by fifteen brothers and sisters. No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 21st, 2008 at 12:00 noon from Holy Family Parish Church with Father J.J. Dolan and Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
