Avis de décès de Lois-Virginia O-Malley

O'MALLEY, LOIS VIRGINIA, 100, passed to our Good Lord on February 28, 2013 at Westport Place Health Center. Lois was born in Oldham County on December 5, 1912 to Grover and Elizabeth Hill Wright. Lois worked at Emler Distributing Co. where she was their parts sales associate and billing administrator for many years. She retired there in 1978 and then volunteered as a docent at Locust Grove and helped with their floral arrangements. She is predeceased by her husband, Rex O'Malley; sisters, Violet Wright and Helen Smith; and brothers Harmon, Howard, Hubert and Richard Wright. She is survived by her sister, Mildred Millar of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews; as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Rattermans at 3711 Lexington Road "in St. Matthews". Her funeral Mass will be at noon on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes, 508 Breckenridge Lane. Cremation was chosen and burial of her ashes will take place at Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Mass of the Air or Hosparus in her memory.
