KINGSTON Lillian E. (Farrell) Andrews, 99, formerly a longtime resident of Whitman, died Sunday, June 28, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late George T. Andrews. Born in Boston and raised in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth V. (Hogan) Farrell and attended Charlestown schools. Lillian was an active member of the Whitman community for over 40 years before her move to Wingate at Silverlake. She was a member of the Whitman Council of Aging and enjoyed bingo, knitting, crocheting, dancing and swimming. She is survived by her children, George T. Andrews Jr. of Plymouth, John C. Andrews of Las Vegas, NV and Mary E. Thorndike of Rockland. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to share in Lillians Memorial Service, which will be held on what would have been her 100th birthday, on Wednesday, October 14 at 9 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman.
