WEST, LILLIAN A., 98Ocala - Lillian A. West, 98, of Ocala, passed away April 12, 2013. Born in Wallace, SD, she came to this area in 1982 from Menomonee Falls, WI. She was a homemaker, a member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Ocala and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and traveling with her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Krueger (Roy) of Parrish, FL; son-in-law, Charles Opitz of Ocala; grandchildren, Keith Krueger (Jeanette), Kristine Fryrear, Michael Opitz (Denise) and Dan Opitz (Sook); great grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie, Forrest and Drew. She was preceded in death by her husband, George and daughter, Karen Opitz. She will be remembered at Sunday Service at Ascension Lutheran Church on April 28th at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow in the Church Memorial Garden. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ascension Lutheran Church, 5730 SE 28th St. Ocala, FL 34471.
