Avis de décès de Larry-Robert Garrett

GARRETT Larry Robert Garrett, 60, of Kankakee, IL died peacefully in his home in Jacksonville, FL on March 3, 2012. He enlisted in the US Armed Forces under the Navy in 1973. He proudly served and retired after 20 years. Mr. Garrett was honorably discharged as a Vietnam War Veteran and leaving with the rank of Commander E-7 CTO1. While in service he continued his education, graduating with a Masters Degree in Computer Science. His greatest passions in life were his family, fishing, the Chicago Bears and the soothing sound of the Blues. Now this is real music., he would say to his children. If you didn't see him in his office working hard, then you could always catch him fishing in his lake or at the movies. He is survived by his wife, Maria; his three children, Lizzette, Jessica, and Oscar; mother, Marian; his two brothers, James and Johnny; six nieces and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father James Leon Garrett and his brother Terry Allen Garrett. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Jacksonville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073.
