LORETTA DELIA <br/>ALLEN -->LORETTA DELIA ALLEN, 99 LAKELAND - Loretta Delia Allen, 99, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 16, 2014, as a result of natural causes. Mrs. Allen was born April 23 1915, in Spencer, MA. She was employed in the shoe industry for her entire working career. She held positions at both the Cochran Shoe Company in Stoughton, MA, and the Green Shoe Company in Boston, MA, where she worked as a skiver. Mrs. Allen's family described her as a loving lady who was proud of her family and loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Lawrence F. Allen and William Friggie. She is survived by her son, Ronald Allen and his wife, Shirley; daughter, Virginia Masefield and her husband, Jack; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and devoted friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 210 West Lemon Street in Lakeland.
