Linda Stonerock Douglas FLORENCE - Linda Stonerock Douglas, 60, of Florence, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014, in McLeod Hospice House after a lengthy illness. Linda was born in Circleville, Ohio, the daughter of Mary Ann Crabill Stonerock and the late Jerry William Stonerock. She was the receptionist for Turner, Padget, Graham and Laney. Linda was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Allen Stonerock. Surviving are her loving husband of twenty-three years, William Amos Douglas of Florence; son, Jerry Arthur Gantt of Colorado Springs, CO; special granddaughter, Heather E. Gantt of the home; four stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; brothers, Richard William Stonerock and Danny Eugene (Debbie) Stonerock, both of Florence; stepson, Greg Douglas, and stepdaughter, Amy (Walt) Turbeville, also of Florence; and eleven nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014, in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Saturday following the service.
