Gary Lynn Warner, Jr., age 52, of Victory Highway in Painted Post, NY, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at his home.Gary Lynn was born on October 26, 1961 in Corning to Gary Sr. and Carol (McChesney) Warner. He was a graduate of West High School in 1980. He was employed by Dresser Rand in Painted Post as a machine operator. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a member of the NRA and the Dresser Rand Service Association.He is survived by his mother Carol Warner of Painted Post; one brother, Jeff (Michelle) Warner of Lindley; two aunts, Linda (Tom) Brady of Campbell, Joan (John) Palinkas of North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Logan, Layton, Lindsey, and Lauren; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad Gary Sr. in 2004.Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 9th from 10 -11 AM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning where a memorial service will be held following calling hours at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve McEuen officiating. The family will provide flowers and ask that memorials may be made to the National Rifle Association at www.nra.org.Gary's family entrusted his care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
