SYLVESTERJoseph, 85, of Chandler, AZ passed away on March 20, 2007. Born in Ossining, NY to the late Carrie (Landi) and John Sylvester. Preceded in death by brother Guido Sylvester of Rochelle Park, NJ. he attended schools in NY and graduated from Montclair High School and Fairleigh Dickinson College with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He moved to California in 1974 where he was owner and president of Omni Training Corp for many years. He traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe giving seminars and lectures relating to solder and training in the electronics field. He retired to Arizona in 1994. He is survived by his wife Antoinette (Melfi) Sylvester of 60 years, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass was held on March 23, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chandler, AZ. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association or Hospice of the Valley at 2525 E. Southern Ave. Tempe, AZ 85282. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.
