STEPHENS Joseph Steven Stephens, our beloved son, age 28, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, June 23, 2013. Joe was born September 28, 1984 in Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother, Elaine Stephens, and his Maternal Grandfather Charles Moore. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Tana Stephens, a Sister, Amanda Stephens, 2 Brothers; Matthew and Trevor Stephens, a niece, Eve Stephens, paternal grandfather, Loyal Stephens, maternal grandmother, Montana Schuh, beloved by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many cherished friends. Joe graduated from Bishop Kenny High School, Class of 2002, earned his AA degree in Business with Honors and was working on finishing his BS degree. He also served in the US Army where he served 2 tours in Iraq with several honored decorations. Joe was also a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, a member of Phi Theta Kappa and he worked for UPS for 11 years. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 at 2:00pm in St. Matthews Catholic Church with Father Jose Kulathinal officiating followed by interment in Jacksonville Memory Gardens with US Army Honors.
