Joseph F. O'Donnellof NorwichJoseph F. O'Donnell, 103, of Norwich, N.Y., formerly of Binghamton, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at the Chenango Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Alban J. and Margaret Gahagan O'Donnell; brothers, Paul S. and Alban J. O'Donnell; and a sister, Margaret O'Donnell. He is survived by four "adopted" children; a niece, Margaret T. Decker, Endicott; nephews, Richard C. and Mary O'Donnell, Johnson City, Gerald A. and Joanne O'Donnell, Johnson City, James J. O'Donnell, Norwich, after they were orphaned in 1939; many grandnieces and nephews and cousins. Joseph was retired from Binghamton Psychiatric Center.A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton, Saturday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to American Diabetes Assoc., 356 N.
