AITKEN, Joseph Philip —1933 - 2016Passed away peacefully Saturday, January 2, 2016. Beloved husband of 60 years to Dorothy. Dear father of Brad (Laura-Lynn) and Grant. Brother of Doug (Bettie) and Jim (Grace "Gay''). Brother-in-law to Lily and Ken Poole. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph was a member of the Islington Golf Club and coached with the Humber Valley Hockey Association. Thank you to CCAC for their kindness, to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joseph''s Hospital and Susan and Ruth for their care. Funeral Service will be held at St. Giles Kingsway Presbyterian Church, 15 Lameth Road, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. Private Interment Glendale Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer''s Association or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
